One approach is to to leverage the energy of a small group setting, creating achievable goals, and using blood sugar monitoring to:
- INDIVIDUALIZE the connection between your body and food!
- ENHANCE OUTCOMES! (studies show outcomes are indeed better in a group setting)
- Integrate a LONG-LASTING way to do all those pesky things you’re told will help, and (I can’t lie to you) do make a difference. But if you don’t create an approach that’s right for you…your chances of success are poor. And it’s only more challenging when you are playing a role as a professional, a mom/caretaker, are not in the habit of cooking or are in the habit of eating out, and have not found your groove around exercise.
