More evidence (courtesy of our rodent friends!) that what and how we eat affects our brain, and our affected brains affect how we gain weight! Another reminder of what we know, but that which is hard to execute — Mindful Eating. Let’s pause to eat one of our meals without a TV, phone, or computer in front of us. Chew fully, swallow, and take a break before the next bite. Try it! Does it make a difference on when you notice a sense of fullness?
