Dr. Pavithra Kakumanu
I am a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and have completed a Fellowship in Integrative Medicine. Those disciplines, in addition to my certification program in Functional Medicine and my advanced teacher’s training in yoga, inform my whole-body healing approach. I am particularly interested in metabolic health and optimization, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other gastro intestinal disorders, obesity and weight loss, hormone dysfunction (including PMS/PMDD, PCOS, and hypothyroidism) and brain fog and fatigue.
I want to work with you to create a sense of personal well-being that takes into account your environmental, lifestyle and social factors. I joined DCIM to work with like-minded colleagues who partner with patients to achieve deeper, lasting health. I look forward to helping you achieve your optimal health!
