The Perks of Being Outdoors

Being in nature can improve blood pressure readings, decrease anxiety, and encourage further healthy movement. I was recently very viscerally reminded of this fact after seeing my young daughters shortly after a camping trip where the degree of happy, playful, and cooperative energy was sky-rocketing. And downright silliness…so important! Right now, it looks as though 2 hours a week is a rough estimate for how much…but, I’m putting out a loving challenge to just be in nature – period – this week. What do you notice?
