Quercetin
If you think this looks like a nightmare — you may suffer from allergies, and Quecetin may be your friend.
Quercetin is classified as a flavonoid and is naturally occurring in apples, beans, black tea, broccoli, grapes, and green tea. It mainly functions as
-an antioxidant
-an anti-inflammatory agent
-an antiviral
-an anti-allergy support
-and many other fun things like: immune balancing, cardiac protecting, brain protecting
So, essentially amazing!
Quercetin can be a wonderfully effective (and natural) support for allergies. Up to 1500mg a three times a day can be as effective as Zyrtec (or other antihistamines),and is what I use personally! Fun fact: more than one ICU doc I know who is working with COVID19 takes Quercetin as part of their antiviral approach, as it inhibits the viral replication.
As always, speak to your own doctor if this is right for you, but I’d love to hear your thoughts and questions!
