Feel Better Now & Protect Your Health for Decades
In Just 6 Weeks, Discover How to Reclaim Your Energy, Clarity & Confidence with a Proven Metabolic Reset
Led by Dr. Anjali Dsouza, Integrative & Functional Medicine Doctor and Founder of The District Center for Integrative Medicine
Midlife Isn’t a Decline. It’s Your Greatest Opportunity.
The habits you carry in your 30s, 40s, and 50s don’t just shape how you feel today – they directly determine your health for decades to come.
For women, this is the turning point. Fatigue that coffee just doesn’t fix, stubborn weight gain, brain fog, poor sleep, and mood swings…these aren’t “just stress” or “just getting older.” They’re early signs your metabolism isn’t working the way it should. Left unchecked, these small issues can snowball into diabetes, heart disease, and other chronic illnesses.
But here’s the good news…
Midlife is when you have tremendous power to course-correct. Every positive change you make now strengthens your future long-term health.
That’s why I created Optimizing Your Metabolic Health. This 6-week small group program is designed to help you reset your metabolism, reclaim your energy, and protect your future. Inside, you’ll learn science-backed strategies tailored to your body and be supported by a community of women on the same journey.
Your body is resilient, especially when given the right support. With the right tools, guidance, and community, you can reverse course and re-build your strength, clarity, and vitality to last for decades.
This program was designed to meet you where you are, address what you’re struggling with now, and help you take action before these challenges harden into lifelong health issues.
Introducing Optimizing Your Metabolic Health
This 6-week small group program gives you a proven, science-based framework to reset your metabolism, reclaim your energy, and build long-term health. With my personal guidance and the support of a like-minded community, you’ll learn the core pillars of metabolic health and how to apply them in ways that truly last.
What You’ll Learn Week by Week
- Week 1 (Oct 15th): Mindset Reset
We’ll start with the foundation: quiet your inner critic, harness neuroplasticity, and begin practices like gratitude and presence to shift your mindset. You’ll learn how to measure success beyond the scale and create the mental foundation for change. - Week 2 (Oct 22nd): Nutrition, Part 1 – Timing + Flexibility
Learn the science of time-restricted eating and how it supports energy, explore the benefits and limitations of keto, and discover the role of metabolic flexibility. - Week 3 (Oct 29th): Nutrition, Part 2 – Nourishment + Hacks
Get clear on how to truly nourish your body through smart meal sequencing and metabolic diet hacks. You’ll understand which foods fuel your body best. - Week 4 (Nov 5th): Blood Sugar Mastery
Blood sugar is one of the most important markers of long-term health. You’ll learn how to read food labels like a pro, use continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and make nutrition choices that stabilize energy and prevent long-term disease. - Week 5 (Nov 12th): Mindfulness, Sleep + Exercise
Reclaim your daily rhythms with mindfulness practices that reduce stress, sleep strategies that turn rest into a metabolic reset, and exercise approaches that give exponential results. - Week 6 (Nov 19th): Hormones, Menstruation + Menopause
Cycle-sync with your menstrual phases, learn how to support hormone health in perimenopause and menopause, and explore when hormone replacement therapy may be beneficial.

“As someone who needs to better manage anxiety due to increased cortisol levels, this group is especially beneficial. The open forums were a great way to hear answers to questions that I may have been thinking about but feel reluctant to voice. It’s amazing to see both our common and unique vulnerabilities. It really helps cement a common bond, and that bond really helps you overcome your health challenges and celebrate your wins!”

“This group has put me on the right track with my health; I feel more happiness, less shame and overall stronger, both physically and mentally. After I first spoke with Dr. Dsouza, I knew I wanted to address my metabolic health. Hearing Dr. D talk about bringing blood sugar to a stable level just makes sense in a way other discussions around health haven’t. During the program, I came to realize certain things about what our culture imposes on us and how to step back and reevaluate. Dr. D, with her calm demeanor and medical expertise, makes learning about health more enjoyable and impactful.“

“After turning 50, I knew I needed to take action around my health. When Dr. Dsouza told me that sometimes you just need someone to help you do it, I hired a trainer and joined this group. Through this group, I’ve learned about intermittent fasting and the importance of eating the right food at the right time. By the end of the program, I’ve already lost some of that persistent weight and turned it to muscle. No small feat for a 50-year-old! The Continuous Glucose Monitoring module was especially helpful for managing my blood sugar. And I really appreciated her bonus sessions on pre-menopause and menopause. Her passion for this work…she just dives right in! It’s refreshing to be led by someone so smart, so dedicated, and so passionate. She’s a beacon of light in what can be a really dark area for many of us.“

Testimonials from Previous Groups

“The OYMH experience changed everything for me. Dr. D’Souza is an incredible teacher, she made every concept feel personalized, clear, and truly achievable. The curriculum was organized, practical, and thoughtfully structured in a way that finally made sense to me. This group has given me tools and confidence I didn’t have before.”
A.D., mid-50s (strong history of PMS and GI challenges)

“OYMH exceeded my expectations almost immediately. The live group sessions were the highlight for me. They were thoughtful, engaging, and incredibly well-structured. The educational content was clear and elevated, yet practical enough to apply right away. The CGM experience was truly illuminating; it gave me meaningful, real-time insight into what was happening in my body and helped me connect the dots in a way I never had before.
As a busy professional and mom navigating perimenopause, I deeply appreciated the supportive group dynamic. It felt empowering to learn alongside other women in a similar stage of life. Honestly, my only wish is that we had even more time together.”
L.B., mid-40s (perimenopausal professional & mom)

“I really got a lot out of this group. I’m not used to speaking up about personal things, but this forum felt like a really safe space. The topics were thought out, and the open forums to start and end the sessions were really helpful. I am now more aware of how different foods affect my body, and have changed my eating schedule and menu to tailor them to what my body needs. I immediately noticed these new habits improve my mood!”

Z.L. (Mid 30s, Professional, Health Enthusiast)

“I joined hoping to find meaningful steps I could take toward improving my health. That’s exactly what I got. I now feel much more motivated to pursue a healthy diet and consistent exercise routine. It has been incredibly helpful to truly understand what a healthy diet looks like and how different types of foods affect my body.
One of the most valuable parts of the experience was learning what changes to expect in perimenopause and menopause, and how to create a regime that is sustainable and can help me prevent or mitigate negative effects of menopause.
The Hormone Replacement Therapy modules were empowering. I can genuinely say that I’m looking forward to my next doctor’s appointment, where I can discuss the benefits of HRT for a woman in my stage of life from a place of knowledge and confidence.”
L.B. (Mid-40s, Perimenopausal Professional, Mom)

“This group has been life changing for me. The community support allowed me to lessen my shame, and Dr. Dsouza’s wise but non-judgemental cheerleading was a breath of fresh air. I made so much progress doing this group and highly recommend it. I also have to say that Dr. D’s meditations are AMAZING!”

A.M. (Mid-40s, Professional, Single)

“Dr. Dsouza has a remarkable ability to explain metabolic health in a way that is both clear and deeply empowering. For the first time, I truly understand the real risks of glucose instability and why blood sugar management is foundational to long term metabolic health, especially during perimenopause.
This program gave me clarity, structure, and confidence in understanding my body at this stage of life. I would highly recommend OYMH to any woman who wants to approach perimenopause or menopause feeling informed, proactive, and in control of her health rather than reactive or uncertain.”

D.M. (Early 50s, Post-menopausal, Professional, Mom, Strong Family History of Diabetes)

“I knew this group would help me turn things around after I posted on the private network about my struggle with carbs and multiple people responded with words of encouragement. Having that space, knowing that there were others experiencing the same thing…it just felt like there was no way to fail. By the end of the program, I feel better physically than I have since before the pandemic. This group has given me tools that I will take with me and continue to work on. This has been a wonderful overall experience.
I am so grateful for the weekly sessions. Being able to check in once a week and stay grounded during the craziness of these last few months has been life-saving. With everything going on in my life, I am still able to make better choices. For example, opening the pantry mindlessly and then being aware enough to realize I’m not actually hungry. I’ve also noticed that after workouts, my recovery feels much better because of what I learned about the food I put into my body and the timing of when I put that food into my body. I’m more aware of what food does to my body and am really happy with the changes to my health.”
E.G. (Mid-30s, Professional, Mom with 2 Dogs, Tendency toward PCOS)

“I would say this group was transformational. Dr. Dsouza covers many areas that people do not consider when tackling the issue of metabolic health. She presents information in a way that a non-doctor can understand it and use it. She is also patient and encouraging along the way. Group members can tell she is passionate about the topic and helping them!”
S.D. (Late-20s, Professional)

“After following the DCIM Instagram page and meeting with Dr. Dsouza, my awareness around metabolic health and blood sugar really grew. I knew right away that joining this group would lead me to success. The content provided in the group was really wonderful. As someone with high standards, the content continued to impress me. I am leaving with more mental clarity, healthy weight loss and better awareness around how what I eat affects my blood sugar.”
K.D. (Early 50s, Cancer Survivor and Health Optimizer)

“I really enjoyed the group dynamic. Being in a group with women at all different points in life was so powerful. It helped me put where I am in life into perspective. I came into this group thinking the biggest transformations would be physical, but it’s actually been more of a mental shift. I’m more aware of how cyclic our lives and health are as women. I am so much better now at giving myself grace, and feeling it.
I joined this group because I didn’t want to have to do another Whole30 or diet plan. I knew Dr. Dsouza’s approach included different tiers to health and biofeedback, which I appreciated. Experimenting with keto and then ketosis wasn’t easy, but hearing the other members’ struggles was really encouraging. Being part of a group made me feel more comfortable and confident in taking the steps towards better health. I’ve even lost half of the postpartum weight I’ve been focusing on!”

“After entering the triple storm (menopause, pandemic, and children transitioning into adulthood) I knew my mental and metabolic health needed improvement. This group has helped me redefine wellness as not only physical health, but also emotional and mental well-being. Listening to others share during these weeks has really helped be less judgmental with myself. I leave the group embracing non-judgement for myself and with a better understanding of female empowerment!”
